1. Library Hours

Library Hours
Semester Vacation
  • Monday - Thursday08:30 ~ 24:00
  • Friday09:00 ~ 18:00
  • Saturday11:00 ~ 18:00
  • Sunday11:00 ~ 21:00
  • Monday - Friday09:00 ~ 18:00

2. Access the library

Step 1. Submit a User Registration Form(New students do not apply)

  • - For new faculty members who wish to have access to the library, they must fill out a 'library user registration form' and submit it to the library.

Step 2. Bring your ID card to enter the library

  • - A student's card is mandatory to enter the library and loan books

Step 3. When using PC/Mac, select a seat number on the Seat Allocation System

  • - Scan your ID card on the 'Seat Allocation Machine' and select a seat number in order to use a desk for PC/Mac.
  • - When you leave the library, please return the seat by scanning your ID card on the machine. If you fail to return your seat 5 times, you will not be eligible for seat allocation for 30 days.

3. Circulation

Loan Periods

  • - Undergraduate : 15days (10 books)
  • - Master's degree : 20days (20 books)
  • - Doctoral degree : 30days (30 books)
  • - Professor : 180 days (50 books)
  • - Staff : 30 days (10 books)

Book Extension

  • 1) Access to http://lib.igc.or.kr
  • 2) Log in to IGC library website
  • 3) Click 'Borrow/Renew'
  • 4) Select books that you want to extend dates and click 'Renew'

Overdue Fine

  • In order to ensure the prompt return of library items, overdue fines will be charged at the current fine schedule (500 won per day per item)

4. PC Time Limit

Computer seats : 6 hours

  • If needed, you may extend your time at your seat. This must be done within 1 hour of seat expiration, at the seat allocation machine.

5. Book Purchase Request

Request through online

  • 1) Access to http://lib.igc.or.kr
  • 2) Login ID/PW(Student ID #)
  • 3) Click 'Purchase Request'
  • 4) Enter book information that you would like to request
  • 5) When requested books arrive, you will be noticed individually
